After a pre-qualification phase, in which 25 companies have made their proposals, the proposals of three companies are now in the final phase of the tender process, with two other companies.
"Participation in this tender process is in line with the DGM Sistemas’ Strategic Management Plan for the 2018-2020 triennium, which defines as priorities the extension of the DGM's operations in the areas of Civil Identification, Social Security and Health to other African countries, mainly to the members of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP) and to Francophone Africa, a region comprised of countries such as Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, Guinea (Conakry), Mali, Niger, Senegal and Togo.
“The DGM Sistemas has a track record of excellence in the projects developed over many years in Angola. We now aim to bring this experience, knowledge and the most advanced technologies to new geographies in order to help government institutions carry out their mission towards people,"said Mauro Franco, member of the DGM Sistemas and responsible for the company's Expansion Program. Mauro Franco is also the main shareholder of MTDHouse Systems, the group leader in this tender process, together with DGM and UNISYS.
